Awarded a Research Grant from the Sasakura Enviro-Science Foundation

We are delighted to announce that our lab member, Daisuke Ioka, has been awarded the FY2026 General Research Grant (10th Program) from the Sasakura Enviro-Science Foundation. (ササクラ環境財団第十回一般研究助成)
His project, "Development of a Portable Photocatalytic Water-Splitting Reactor for Hydrogen Production from Sunlight and Water," received a research grant of ¥500,000.
This funding will support the development of portable photocatalytic water-splitting reactors and provide financial support for research activities, including conference participation.
We look forward to sharing future progress and research outcomes!

The Sasakura Enviro-Science Foundation supports promising research in environmental science and technology, particularly projects related to water, energy, materials, and environmental conservation, with the aim of promoting scientific innovation and fostering young researchers.
